The supporters of Alliance for Bonded Term Limits ("ABTL") have joined together to examine the current structure and existing operations of the Congress of the United States. This organization is dedicated to providing the voting public an opportunity to elect candidates that will reform Congress by limiting their time and legislating in the best interest of their constituents.
This organization will pursue its activities based on facts, without respect to political party; without influence by special interests and will report without bias on the results produced by public policy. We will specially focus on those various benefits that are available to members of Congress that are not generally available to the voting public.
Our mission is to promote a return to citizen government that includes term limits, seniority reform and other practices that encourage the introduction of fresh blood and fresh ideas to the legislative process. We seek a reduction in the power and influence of those who put their own reelection ahead of the needs of the people.
The objective of ABTL is to facilitate a return to traditional American values by promoting individual liberty, strong defense, and a government partnership with industry that produces opportunity for all.
The Alliance for Bonded Term Limits is an educational organization. Our mission is to research facts and identify a useful course of action. We will demonstrate clearly to the public how the world of lush trappings of political office can corrupt politicians as they ostensibly take up the people's business in faraway Washington, DC. So seductive are the perks of office that re-election becomes the only priority, while the legitimate interests of the American people are neglected.
To begin its important work, the Alliance for Bonded Term Limits has incorporated and made application for recognition as a Part 501(c)(3) tax-advantaged entity. ABTL will exert a nonpartisan effort, because we realize that entrenched cronyism and corruption are not limited to one political party or region. ABTL will be guided by experienced leadership, dedicated to returning integrity to the election process.
